Andre & John – Secret Jewel

Today I have the pleasure of writing about the last wedding Daymar events and wonderful team has organized.
After a year of preparation, planning and developing illusions, we were able to enjoy a complete, delightful, fun and like all wedding, filled with happiness, family and love.
One year? Yes, yes, one year. The things is, people are not aware of everything that goes into being a Wedding Planner, or everything that entails creating that perfect wedding movie, but maybe that’s what makes it even more special! All the dedication and love that hides beneath.

Before I talk about the wedding itself, it important to emphasize the beautiful location in which the event took place.
It is the Secret Jewel celebrations venue, a location that is situated between Playa del Carmen and Cancun, in our beautiful Riviera Maya. This venue is surrounded by jungle, then merging into a breathtaking beach bordered by palm trees. An ocean view terrace, white chapel (Santa Maria del Secreto) with byzantine decor, a wonderful lounge area, available to set up a post-ceremony cocktail overlooking the ocean. 5.000m2 of coziness and private environment, consequently, gives us an unmatchable feel.
Undoubtedly one of the best options to spend one of the most important days of our lives.

The evening began welcoming our guests to a beautiful wooden beam entrance surrounded by green vegetation. Once there, each one had to find his/her name, and a card was given in exchange for the requested photo. We had a polaroid camera that captured smiles, gestures and attire of each couple, to then later create an album of signatures where each guest would share and print the gratitude and love they felt towards our groom and bride ..
I believe it is necessary to have a casual, fun and interactive icebreaker at the event, especially at the beginning when people still find themselves uncertain and without clear expectations of where this day may take them.

In particular case, the merge of cultures between the bride and groom led us to presence two consecutive ceremonies. It began at the white chapel, with large comfortable space to enjoy a spectacular view and perfect ventilation.
The bride´s entrance made us all get goose bumps and our skin curl. Accompanied by her father´s hand our bride´s dreamy wooden bridge path started at the entrance were earlier all guest were welcomed, over a river of fresh water. A trail of white steps placed on the skirts of the chapel over the white Caribbean sand marked the way to what her new life was about to become.

Following this, guest were invited to continue the evening just a few meters towards the beach, crossing a table filled with multiple assortments of small appetizers. Then, the civil ceremony began, where the bride and groom were standing face to face under a gazebo decorated with tangled white fabrics, contrasting perfectly with the Caribbean ocean for Party Planet productions.
A quick thanks to our dear Minister; Paula Riquelme, who formalized and legalized this two love birds.
And now! After the ceremony, the excitement and the so expected ‘I do’, Yazmín de la Mora, delighted us with an incredible cocktail, in which nobody could resist to not eat, because let’s face it, who could resist turkey salbute canapés with the traditional black stuffing accompanied with white Yucatan style ceviche and shrimp skewers with marinated pineapple. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water!

To launch the evening, continuing with Yazmin´s catering, we enjoyed a sophisticated dinner with contemporary regional touches. Set with vintage rectangular tables and tiffany chairs by Carla and Garbriel of Mobiliario Cancún.

Without a doubt the night began when Party Planet Productions set the tone with the music, DJ and a 6 × 6 LED floor, lights, sound/audio and decoration, now the party started.
Guest were immediately out of their chairs and finished the night dancing, jumping, and screaming across the wind all of the excitement.
It is a real pleasure to see such an event conclude, without a doubt it makes everything worthwhile.

Stay tuned and give us the opportunity to do our work, and make your dreams come true!
